Joint Implant Surgery and Research Foundation (a non-profit Scientific and Educational Foundation), Founded 1971 by Prof. Charles O. Bechtol, M.D.

The Joint Implant Surgery and Research Foundation has been accredited by the Accreditations Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. (1971-1994)

JISRF conducts basic science research and sponsors clinical study groups.
